Manama : The Indian Community Relief Fund (“ICRF”) Thirst-Quenchers 2022 team has held its third summer awareness program today (16 July). The basic purpose of this program is to create awareness towards a healthy and safe summer 2022.
The 3rd of the series was held today at a worksite in Diyar Al Muharraq for around 275 workers. The Thirst-Quenchers 2022 team distributed bottled water, fruits and laban. All the workers were also provided with lunch packets which was sponsored by Siraj.
ICRF Chairman Dr Babu Ramachandran, Advisor/Ex Officio Aruldas Thomas, General Secretary Pankaj Nallur, Joint Secretary Nisha Rangarajan, Members Siraj, Pankaj Malik, Ajayakrishnan, Clifford Correa, Rajeevan, Hari, Al Dana Contracting Project Manager Vikrant along with Bohra Community members Kutub, Ebrahim and Yousif were leading the distribution.
This is the 7th consecutive year of ICRF Thirst Quenchers distribution of water and fruits. Similar to previous years the event is supported by Bohra community in Bahrain.
ICRF Thirst-Quenchers intends to continue this weekly event for the next 8 weeks in various worksites as they are one of the most affected toiling under the summer heat
