BAHRAIN : Indian Community Relief Fund (ICRF) organized an event as part of “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” – commemorating 75 years of Indian Independence. The event was held at the MCSC labour camp in Askar on Friday, 19th August 2022.His Excellency Sri Piyush Srivastava, Ambassador of India to the Kingdom of Bahrain, interacted and spent time in listening to queries of workers. As part of the celebration His Excellency also inaugurated distribution of snacks packets on behalf of ICRF. ICRF arranged snacks packets for over 800 workers at the camp.Indian Embassy Second Secretary Sri Ravi Shankar Shukla, ICRF Chairman Dr. Babu Ramachandran, Advisor Aruldas Thomas, Joint Secretary Nisha Rangarajan and ICRF Members Muralikrishnan, Ajay Krishnan, Pankaj Malik, Clifford Correa, Sunil Kumar, Suresh Babu, D V Shivkumar, K T Saleem, Javad Pasha and other volunteers attended the event.Mr. K L Wilson – Project Manager, Mr. Akram – HR Director and other management staff of MCSC organized the event and thanked HE Ambassador, Embassy staff and ICRF team members for this noble initiative.
