Bahrain : Titled Gaia – The Mother Earth, is a project under the banner of Lakshya, a creative group in association with Women Across and Dynamic Art Centre.The auspicious start of the project was done by a lamp lighting ceremony by Bahrain-based Indian cine artist Jaya Menon and Prakash Vadakara, at the Sopanam Hall, Kanoo Garden in Salihiya. The choreographic film is directed by founder and Art director of Lakshya, Vidya Sreekumar and the music is rendered by Indian celebrity musician, Palakkad Sreeram.
It features two young dancers Sai Arpitha Nair and Sarga Sudhakaran.
The crew also includes creative director Jacob creative bees, Associate director Vinod V Devan, dialogue Nayantara Salim, voice/narration Anupama Binu and Tiji Mathew, production controller Vinod Attingal, make-up Lalitha Dharmaraj, Art Dinesh Mavoor and recording Jose Francis. The film is scheduled for release later this year. The event was also attended by Indian Ladies Association President Nisha Ranga, Women Across founder partner Sumithra Praveen, Rekha Utham, Salam Bahrain editor Meera Ravi, Santhosh Kailas, Samskruthi President Praveen Nair, NK Veeramani, Firos Thiruvathra, EA Salim, Sherly Salim, Aji Kumar, and others.
