Bahrain : RAVE Combat Federation, the premier global Mixed Martial Arts promotion based in the Kingdom of Bahrain, has confirmed that its 53rd edition will take place on August 21, in Kazakhstan.
BRAVE CF 53 will be held in Almaty, the former capital and largest city of the Central Asian country. The event will be promoted in association with leading local promotion Octagon League, and will once again shed light in the incredible talent in Central Asia, as BRAVE CF has done in the past with previous trips not just to Kazakhstan, but to Kyrgyzstan, and the signing of key talents from Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.
This will be the second time that BRAVE Combat Federation visits Kazakhstan. The first one was back in 2017, when BRAVE CF 6 took place at the Halyk Arena, also in Almaty.
On the occasion, the fight night was headlined by the now BRAVE CF Super Lightweight champion of the world Eldar Eldarov, who knocked out Brazil’s Henrique Gomes in the first round, in his first of many main event appearances. It was also the site of BRAVE CF’s first-ever women’s bout as Mariya Agapova beat Yulia Litvinceva in a Flyweight bout.
BRAVE CF 53 will add up to a busy end of summer for BRAVE Combat Federation, with BRAVE CF 52: Bad Blood taking place in Italy on August 1st, which will be headlined by a vacant Light Heavyweight world title fight. Middleweight champion Mohammad Fakhreddine looks to become a two-division titleholder when he takes on top contender Mohamed Said Maalem in a grudge match for the ages.
