Bahrain : The Capital Governorate Police Directorate has arrested a man and a woman, both Asian, aged 39 and 41, for cheating citizens and residents through social media accounts for selling wooden furniture. They scammed their victims and managed to get around BD23,000. An investigation into received cases led to identifying and arresting the suspects. They used to get down payments from their victims for making the furniture and ignored their calls. The two suspects have no Commercial Register to carry out business activity. Legal procedures were taken to refer the case to the Public Prosecution.
