Italy:BRAVE Combat Federation, the premier Mixed Martial Arts promotion based in the Kingdom of Bahrain and the leading MMA force in Europe in 2021 has confirmed its first trip to Italy, with BRAVE CF 52, which will take place on August 1st, in Milan. Shortly after the announcement, the first names present in the fight night were also disclosed, including a former world champion.
Holding a professional record of 12 wins and only one loss, the “Lazy King” Abdoul Abdouraguimov, a former BRAVE CF Super Welterweight champion of the world, will be making his much-anticipated return, looking for a third consecutive win with an yet to be named opponent.
Also confirmed for action on August 1st, is the undefeated Austrian young star Mochamed Machaev, who boasts a perfect professional record of 9 wins and no losses. “The Beast”, who was voted BRAVE CF’s 2020 Breakthrough Fighter of the Year, is one of the rising names in the Featherweight division but has expressed his intentions to move down to the Bantamweight division sooner rather than later.
Finally, the third name confirmed in the first batch of BRAVE CF 52 announcements was one to please the local fans: Italy’s own Enrico Cortese. “The Killing Machine” is 7-2 in MMA and 2-0 in BRAVE CF, coming off a brutal first-round knockout over Claudiu Alexe, and recognized as the next big thing at Middleweight.
BRAVE CF 52 will be promoted in association with The Golden Cage and marks the eight different European country visited by BRAVE Combat Federation, with Italy joining Northern Ireland, England, Romania, Slovenia, Sweden, Russia, and Belarus, solidifying the organization’s stance as having the most active MMA market share in Europe, and dedication towards fostering the European mixed martial arts scene.
