ICRF held its 11th week’s Summer Awareness campaign 2023

Bahrain : The Indian Community Relief Fund (“ICRF”) Thirst-Quenchers 2023 team held its Eleventh week’s summer awareness program.  The basic purpose of this program is to create awareness towards a healthy and safe summer 2023. The 11th of the series was held on 9 September 2023 and the Thirst-Quenchers 2023 team distributed bottled water, juice packet, fruits, Laban and Biriyani at a worksite in Seef for nearly 70 workers.  Defence Attache at Embassy of India  Captain Naushad Ali Khan and Assistant Consular Officer Sri Suman Bhatt have attended the program and they along with  ICRF Vice Chairman Adv. V K Thomas has addressed the workers and spoke about safety precautions to be taken during the summer months. This is the 8th consecutive year of ICRF Thirst Quenchers distribution of water and fruits.  Bohra community, Shifa Al Jazeera Hospital and Malabar Gold are supporting ICRF in this project this year. ICRF Thirst-Quenchers intends to continue this weekly event until the mid of September in various worksites as they are one of the most affected toiling under the summer heat.
