Bahrain : The Indian Community Relief Fund (“ICRF”) Thirst-Quenchers 2021 team concluded this year’s summer awareness camp today. Today’s distribution of water and fruits was held at a work site in Marassi area for around 130 workers. This is the 12th week and the program is supported by Bohra community in Bahrain. They also provided a well packed Aloo Paratha (lunch) to all the workers today.
Additionally, ICRF volunteers have distributed reusable face masks, anti-bacterial soaps along with flyers that explain the measures that can be followed to stay safe during COVID-19 as well as flyers on mental well being.
The basic purpose of such activity is to teach workers the importance of drinking water and encourage them on how to be healthy during the summer.
The event was organised following COVID-19 protocol and attended by ICRF Chairman Dr Babu Ramachandran, General Secretary Pankaj Nallur, ICRF Volunteers Muralikrishnan, Raman Preet and Zulfikar Ali.
