Bahrain : There are many Indian expatriates in our coral island, who are struggling to make their ends meet. The Indian Club is poised to become a haven, where they can always approach the Indian Cub, for their support. As a non-profitable motive organization for more than hundred years old and represents all Indians in Bahrain; the Indian Club has been able to intervene & support the community very well during this epidemic; and in collaboration with many other organizations, a variety of assistance was provided to those destitutes during these hard times. As the parent organization of Indians, The Indian Club – Bahrain is a sense of pride & dignity to the community.
Covid-19 Vaccination Drive; run in collaboration with the Indian Embassy, has benefited many Indians who are facing various legal difficulties, to get vaccinated. As part of this initiative, on Friday the 18th, more than 1,500 Indians who were experiencing technical & legal difficulties for taking their vaccination in the first phase were vaccinated at the Sitra Mall in Bahrain, led by the Indian Embassy. Along with Indian Club; ICRF, BKS and NRI Council and other organizations were also present on the occasion. Vaccine recipients also got the vaccination update in the B-Aware app on their mobiles.
All Indians who are still struggling legally to receive the vaccine are requested to register with the Embassy’s Google Form link. The Government of Bahrain urges all Indians to join the 100% Vaccination Project without any fears. The Indian Embassy and the Ministry of Health are certainly to be commended for taking such a great initiative & supporting the residents in Bahrain
At the same time, as part of this vaccination drive, many individuals have shared with us the various difficulties they face. It has come to our notice that there are still many Indians here who are facing difficulties related to Covid, due to inaccurate travel documents etc., not being able to go home and so on.
This stance made the beginning of a 24 – hour help desk of the Indian Club, which any Indian can always rely on to help find solutions to such problems and bring them to the attention of the authorities to resolve it.
Of course, there are many people who are facing such difficulties due to the current epidemic. Therefore, the cooperation of all other organizations and individuals are needed for this great endeavor. Therefore, the Indian Club, in association with & request all socio-political and cultural organizations, large and small, to come forward to lend a hand to all Indians, irrespective of caste, creed or language, and support this initiative; appealed by a joint statement given by The Indian Club President Stalin Joseph (39526723) and General Secretary Job M.J.
