Interior Ministry participates in Arab Conference for Heads of Investigation and Criminal Evidence Services

Bahrain : The Ministry of Interior participated in the 19th Arab Conference for Heads of Investigation and Criminal Evidence Services, held in Tunisia, with the participation of the Arab League, United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, and Naif Arab University for Security Sciences.The conference discussed the use of websites in committing crimes, the role of criminal databases in detecting crimes, and the results of the two committees meetings concerned with examining the establishment of two databases for biometric and ballistic fingerprints.The conference highlights the changes and challenges of the world today, which requires more control over crime and limit its spread.The General Secretariat will submit the conference’s recommendations to the next session of the Arab Interior Ministers Council.
