ISB Riffa campus students sensitized about road safety rules

Manama:The Indian School Riffa campus children had an infotainment day at the traffic safety awareness week day camp held at The Avenues, Bahrain on March 6,  2023. The event was organised by the Traffic Directorate officials of Bahrain.
Traffic Inspector Ms. Rabya and other officials in attendance welcomed the students. She thanked them for attending the event and engaged the kids in an interactive discussion about the importance of adhering to traffic safety habits like reading road signs, using zebra crossings, pedestrian signals, walking on the sidewalk and  fastening seat belts.  Children and infants must always travel in suitable child  seats in the backseat. The use of mobile phones while driving is not allowed. The students were then led by Ms  Rabya through a variety of road safety awareness exercises that were available for them to complete in the kiosk. The staff members at the various stations occupied them with a variety of creative and interesting games, such as ringing the appropriate traffic safety stands, completing puzzle boards, playing video games, Pexeso (a memory game for recalling and identifying pairs of similar traffic guidelines tiles), coloring activities, taking pictures in the car cut-out stand.
