Manama: In a dazzling display of colour and creativity, Aalekh’24, Bahrain’s most anticipated inter-school art carnival, burst onto the scene today (Friday) at The Indian School’s Isa Town campus. ISB Hon.Chairman Adv. Binu Mannil Varughese inaugurated the Aalekh’24 and the Art Exhibition. Joined by dignitaries including Hon. Secretary V. Rajapandian, Hon. From the moment the doors opened, the Art Gallery Exhibition at the RP Block became a bustling hub of creativity, inviting visitors to immerse themselves in a stunning array of artistic expressions. With over 3,000 young artists showcasing their talents, the atmosphere was electric with excitement and anticipation. Aalekh’24 promises a day filled with cultural programmes, culminating in a grand finale and prize distribution at the Jashanmal auditorium at 8:00 pm today. The entire venue pulsates with energy and inspiration, setting the stage for a truly unforgettable experience.
At the heart of Aalekh’24 lies its commitment to inclusivity and collaboration. The group painting event, ‘Harmony,’ brings together school teams to create breathtaking acrylic paintings on canvas, fostering teamwork and collective creativity among students aged 12-18. Meanwhile, the Art Wall contest invites artists above 18 to leave their mark on the vibrant tapestry of talent. The Indian School extends a warm invitation to all art enthusiasts, parents, and community members to join in this exhilarating celebration and show their support for the budding artists of Bahrain, said ISB Hon.
